About the event
Write about a Black American or Black History figure who has inspired you, for a chance to win Medals, Trophies, Cash Prizes or a Shopping Spree.
Essays should be 500 words or less and should:
- Adress how a Black American or Black History figure has been an inpriration in your life.
- Share the story of the contributions that Black American has made to society.
Elligibility
- Be a legal U.S. resident
- Age 13 or older 6-12 grades
- Be enrolled in Public or private schools in Western Wayne County
- Have a minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 2.0
Essays must be submitted between October 15, 2021 thru the deadline of January 17, 2022.
